Blue Mountain Broadcasting
Blue Mountain Broadcasting provides wholesome content, focused on community information, health, spirituality, and education to the Walla Walla Valley and beyond. Our mission is to reveal the character of God through the world around us. It is a wholly donor-supported ministry.
For over 30 years, we have regionally broadcast over the air and on cable, and are continuing our journey by providing unique and uplifting content on-demand and through our Bluestream Media and BMB Studios Production. From getting to know our neighbors, exploring our beautiful natural resources, and discovering more about our communities, to local church services, bible studies, health education and music, our content is relevant and engaging for viewers of all ages and interests.
Today, our small team of dedicated employees work with donors and volunteers to provide viewers an opportunity to spend time with Jesus, some for the first time. Their enthusiasm is energizing and inspirational. Join and support this life-changing media today!

We offer content that provides encouragement and hope. Life is difficult for us all and there is hope beyond fear, despair and division. Ephesians 4:29
Inviting communion
We invite people to know Jesus. He has told us He is knocking and wants to be invited in. Everyone who hears His voice is invited to be baptized into His family and to sit at His table. Revelation 3:20
Meet the Team
Lynelle Ellis
Lynelle has been in television for more than 30 years. In addition to her leadership at BMB, she is the director of The Center for Media Ministry at WWU and a full-time professor of communications. She is highly skilled in institutional leadership, producing, and as an on-air presenter.
Elaine Blake Hinshaw
With a degree in Communications Media from WWU, Elaine thrives on inspiring and encouraging people. For nearly 40 years, she's built relationships through visual and written storytelling and is experienced in strategic planning, fundraising and public speaking.
Lowell Mann
Lowell earned a degree in digital multimedia from Andrews University as well as a Masters in Cinema, Religion and Worldview from WWU. He’s worked in television media for nearly 20 years. He excels at public speaking, television hosting, production, video editing, motion graphics and content delivery.
Carmen Kearns
Carmen studied logistics in her native Germany, working in the industry for seven years. After marrying she moved to the US, serving as a record secretary at Andrews University and homeschooled her two children. She provides exceptional administrative support and joyfully coordinates our volunteer corps.
Alex Murcia
A graduate of Walla Walla University, Alex has spent the last 6 years living in Walla Walla Valley. As an Editor at Blue Mountain Television, Alex prepares shows for broadcasting and helps edit locally produced shows, including Daily Bread and Hometown. In his free time, Alex likes to read books, play board games, and watch documentaries.
