Just when it’s need most

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.                                               — Romans 8:28.

This is often among the first verses we memorize as children. It is reassuring to know God has a great purpose for us and is working with us to grow His Kingdom.

Yet sometimes, we get so busy working things out ourselves that we don’t stop to observe and absorb how God is working out all that is happening around us. We are oblivious to how He is setting solutions up, often long in advance, for when they are needed the most. He is there, diligently solving challenges that don’t even exist yet!

As you know, 2025 was a challenging year for Blue Mountain Broadcasting. With your help, we have been able to continue on into this year, and we are blessed with an increase in monthly giving, thanks to 60 new Watchkeepers! God is blessing the viewers through you! We have also been rebuilding our operating reserves a little at a time and are on schedule — but what we didn’t see coming was a gigantic blessing that had been two decades in the making.

Back in the early 2000s, the BMT team was blessed by a couple who donated time and treasure to the viewers of Blue Mountain Television. They volunteered to recruit underwriters until health challenges and age limited their ability to contribute. Our team remembers them fondly and loved how enthusiastically they shared BMT’s mission with the business community. Ten years ago, the husband went to his rest, and then, a few months ago, the wife passed away as well. We can’t wait to see them again and will miss them until that day.

Much to our surprise, a check for more than $130,000 arrived from their estate last month. This generosity will help reestablish our reserves and support lasting financial stability. In operational terms, it represents nearly 4 months of broadcasting operation. Praise God!

What is amazing is knowing that God worked this out decades ago, orchestrating events so that years later, their gift would come at just the right time to make an incredible difference for the viewers. He worked all things together for good, ensuring that BMT would receive that money precisely when it was needed the most.

Our finances are not out of the woods yet. However, we are very optimistic that God’s plans are bigger than any of us could ever imagine. Together, with full hearts and gratitude for the generosity of this community, we will continue to faithfully plant seeds for His kingdom.
